Bartender – Sale e Pepe Mare

Sale e Pepe Mare, located within The Langham, London, brings the spirit of coastal Italy to one of the capital's most prestigious hotels. Combining exceptional seafood, warm Italian hospitality, and vibrant Mediterranean energy, Sale e Pepe Mare offers guests a truly memorable dining experience.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Bartender to join our team from the end of June. Initially, you will be based on La Terrazza, our seasonal outdoor dining destination, serving guests in a lively and elegant al fresco environment before transitioning into the main restaurant later in the year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bartender who enjoys creating exceptional drinks, engaging with guests, and working in a premium hospitality setting.

The Role

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding beverage service whilst creating memorable guest experiences. You will prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards, ensuring every drink reflects the quality and personality of Sale e Pepe Mare.

Working closely with the Bar Manager and wider front-of-house team, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere that embodies the warmth and sophistication of Italian hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, coffees, and soft drinks to company standards
Deliver exceptional guest service at all times
Engage confidently with guests and make knowledgeable recommendations
Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, beverages, and seasonal offerings
Support the smooth running of bar operations during service
Ensure the bar is clean, organised, and fully stocked
Assist with stock rotation and inventory procedures
Follow all licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene requirements
Work collaboratively with restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
Support sales through confident product knowledge and upselling

About You

We are looking for a Bartender who:

Has previous experience as a Bartender in a quality restaurant, hotel, or premium bar environment
Has strong cocktail-making skills and a passion for beverages
Demonstrates excellent guest engagement and communication skills
Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Takes pride in attention to detail and presentation
Has a positive, team-focused attitude
Is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences
Has the right to live and work in the UK
