Head Bartender – Los Mochis Notting Hill

Los Mochis Notting Hill is seeking an exceptional Head Bartender to join our highly acclaimed restaurant and bar in the heart of West London. As our original London location, Los Mochis Notting Hill has established itself as a leading destination for innovative dining, exceptional cocktails, and outstanding hospitality.


The Role

As Head Bartender, you will play a key leadership role within the bar team, supporting management in the smooth and efficient operation of all bar services. You will lead by example behind the bar, ensuring exceptional drinks, service, presentation, and guest experiences at all times.


You will work closely with the Restaurant Management, Front of House, and Kitchen teams to maintain consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all service periods.


You will be responsible for motivating and developing the bar team, maintaining high standards, and helping to ensure that the Los Mochis drinks experience is delivered consistently to every guest.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the bar team during service

- Ensure consistently high standards of drinks, service, presentation, and cleanliness

- Support the training, coaching, and development of bartenders and barbacks

- Create a warm, engaging, and knowledgeable experience for every guest

- Maintain excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, sake, and other beverages

- Ensure all cocktails and drinks are prepared consistently and to specification

- Work closely with the Bar Manager and Restaurant Management to ensure smooth service

- Maintain effective communication between the Bar, Front of House, and Kitchen teams

- Assist with stock management, ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control

- Monitor wastage, portion control, and bar costs

- Ensure all licensing, health & safety, and company procedures are followed

- Maintain high standards of bar organisation, cleanliness, and presentation

- Lead by example and create a positive, professional, and motivating environment for the team

- Support management with daily operations, service flow, and problem-solving

- Take ownership of the bar during service and ensure a seamless guest experience


Requirements

- Previous experience as a Senior Bartender / Head Bartender in a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant, bar, or hospitality venue

- Strong cocktail knowledge and a genuine passion for drinks and hospitality

- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a bar team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation

- Confident English communication skills with a willingness to learn

- Strong organisational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

- Good understanding of stock control, wastage, and bar operations

- A positive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example

- Drive, ambition, and a desire to progress within the business

- Proof of right to work in the UK
